Thorben Jansen is a Junior Research Group Leader and research scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) in Kiel. His research focuses on the intersection of educational psychology and digital transformation, with a particular emphasis on teaching and learning with artificial intelligence. He investigates how generative AI, writing agents, and automated feedback systems can be utilized to support students‘ writing processes and language learning in school settings.
