Stephan Huber – Shining
Summer Semester 2022 | CAS Seestraße
Summer Semester 2022 | CAS Seestraße
At the center of the exhibition is the artwork “Shining”, which depicts Huber’s bright yellow childhood home in a gray-white ice landscape. The house provides the framework for a fictitious tour through the years 1960 to 1965. This tour is then transferred in abstract pictorial form to the rooms of the CAS, which are presented and formed as a map space, library or games room.
Stephan Huber (*1952 in Lindenberg im Allgäu) has studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich, where he also held a professorship. The sculptor and painter lives and works in Munich as well as in Ostallgäu.
At the Vernissage on 28 April 2022 Prof. Dr. Ronald Wenzlhuemer (Historical Seminar of the LMU) will give the introduction.
