Tom Messavilla: Winterraumschiff (2020)

Tom Messavilla's work is about building and constructing. Mostly, he creates spaceships that transport small and large landscapes. He uses memory images as models for this. In the process of painting, pictorial spaces open up in which the season also plays a role: It is winter in the spaceships. The viewers are invited to locate themselves in the spaceship and to give free rein to their imagination about life there.
Tom Messavilla studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he also lives and works.
At the Vernissage on 7 December 2022 Dr. Robert Kramm will give the introduction.
