Workshop organized by Dr. Andreas Döpp (CAS Young Center/LMU).
”Bayesian” statistics and reasoning has become a cornerstone of modern scientific inquiry, providing a principled framework for incorporating prior knowledge and updating beliefs in light of new evidence. From medicine and psychology to physics and computer science, researchers leverage Bayesian methods to guide experimental design, interpret results, and refine theories.
Participants include the members of the upcoming CAS Research Focus “Bayesian Methods in Science”: Andreas Döpp, Stephan Hartmann, Volker Schmid, Tom Sterkenburg, Borut Trpin.
