CLUES 2023: Advances in Understanding the Local Universe

Date:

5 June 2023 - 9 June 2023

Workshop led by Dr Klaus Dolag (CAS Research Group/ LMU) and Jenny Sorce, Ph.D. (CAS Research Group/CRIStAL).

The local universe, our cosmic home, is the best observed region of the universe. In this environment, structure formation can be studied on both large and small scales, i.e. from the galaxy clusters down to the low mass dwarf galaxies. The CLUES-project aims at using simulations constrained to reproduce the local Universe in order to study these structures and make detailed comparisons with observations, on a one-to-one basis, free of cosmic variance biases.
