Alexander Choukér is a senior physician and director of the "Translational Research Stress and Immunity" laboratory at LMU Hospital. Together with his research team (Judith-Irina Buchheim, Matthias Feuerecker, Dominique Moser, and Tobias Wöhrle), he initiates and leads numerous experimental, clinical, and space medicine studies that examine the effects of stress on the immune system.
