Anne Quéguiner-Mathieu is a professor at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (Paris 13).
She spezializes in algebra with a particular focus on involution algebras, algebraic groups, quadratic forms, Galois cohomology, homogeneous projective varieties, and Chow motives. She is particularly interested in cohomological invariants—such as the Rost invariant—and motivic invariants like the J-invariant, as well as representations of algebraic groups, notably through Tits algebras, and the concept of Pfister involutions. Quéguiner-Mathieu’s work contributes to a deeper understanding of the interplay between algebraic and arithmetic properties in the theory of central simple algebras and quadratic forms. She has published extensively on these topics and is recognized for her significant contributions to the field of algebra.
Anne Quéguiner-Mathieu is a member of Prof. Dr. Nikita Geldhauser`s CAS Research Group Algebraic Groups, Motives and Applications. She will be in Munich as a Visiting Fellow in the year 2025/2026.
