Julia Bühner is a Postdoctoral Researcher for Medieval Studies at the Goethe-University of Frankfurt.
She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Münster in 2022 with her dissertation New Worlds. An alternative international legal history of the conquest of the Canary Islands (1402–1496).
Julia Bühner is a member of Prof. Dr. Julia Burkhardt’s CAS Research Group “Femicide: Interdisciplinary Approaches to a Global Historical Phenomenon”. She will be in Munich as a Visiting Fellow from November 2025 to January 2026.
