Prof. Edgardo Stockmeyer, Ph.D.

Edgardo Stockmeyer is Professor of Mathematical Physics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

His research lies at the interface of mathematics and theoretical physics, with a focus on mathematical physics, relativistic quantum mechanics, and the analysis of Schrödinger and Dirac operators.

Edgardo Stockmeyer was a Visiting Fellow in November and December 2019 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Thomas Sørensen (LMU). On 28 November he gave a lecture on “On the Semiclassical Spectrum of the Dirichlet-Pauli Operator”. In June and July 2026, he will again be a Visiting Fellow at CAS.
