Elizabeth Otto Elizabeth Otto is an Associate Professor at the University of Buffalo, and Executive Director of the Humanities Institute.
She mainly works on European and American art and visual culture from the nineteenth-century to the present, issues of gender and theory, and the history of photography. She has also published widely on topics relating to gender and media culture in the early twentieth-century Europe.
Elizabeth Otto is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from November 2016 to January 2017 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Burcu Dogramaci in the context of the CAS Research Focus "Representing Migration". Together with Professor Dogramaci she organizes the conference "Passages of Exile" that will take place at CAS from 9th to 10th December.
