Hélène Miard-Delacroix is a historian and political scientist. She has held the Chair of Contemporary History and Culture of Germany at the University Paris-Sorbonne since 2008.
Her research focuses on (German) political history and the history of Franco-German relations. She is also interested in different political cultures, images of Europe, and the origins of nationalism.
Hélène Miard-Delacroix is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in June 2022 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Kiran Klaus Patel (CAS Research Focus „Order Contestation“). On 21 June she holds a lecture on “1989: Wahrnehmungen und Narrative des Wandels“.
