Peter Vivian Coveney is Professor of Physical Chemistry, and the Director of the Centre for Computational Science at University College London (UCL). He is also Professor of Applied High Performance Computing at University of Amsterdam (UvA).
He is active in a broad area of interdisciplinary research including condensed matter physics and chemistry, materials science, as well as life and medical sciences in all of which high performance computing plays a major role.
He is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in the summer semester 2024 at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Dieter Kranzlmüller (LMU) in the context of the CAS Research Focus “Medical Data Processing”.
