Roland Wenzlhuemer is Professor of Modern History at LMU Munich and Director of the Munich Centre for Global History.

Most recent publications include Mobilität und Kommunikation in der Moderne (Göttingen 2020) and Globalgeschichte schreiben. Eine Einführung in 6 Episoden (Konstanz/München 2017).

From 2019 to 2021 he was spokesperson of the CAS Research Focus Global Dis/Connections. Since 2021 he is co-director of the Käte Hamburger Research Centre "Dis:connectivity in Processes of Globalisation".
