Toshiro Tanimoto is Professor of Geo Science at the UC Santa Barbara.
Toshiro Tanimoto is mostly known for his contribution in discovering and explaining the Earth’s hum.
He is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from September to November 2014 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Heiner Igel. He participates in the "Hum Workshop" and will give a lecture on "The M9.0 Japanese Earthquake" on 30 October 2014.
