Sebastián E. Nuza arbeitet am Institut für Astronomie und Weltraumphysik (IAFE) an der Universität Buenos Aires.
Seine Interessengebiete sind physikalische Daten und Prozesse, astronomische Instrumente, Methoden und Techniken, astronomische Datenbanken, die Galaxie und andere Galaxien sowie die Kosmologie.
Sebastián E. Nuza ist im September 2023 auf Einladung von Prof. Dr. Klaus Dolag Visiting Fellow am CAS und ist Mitglied der CAS Research Group „Complex Views and New Clues of the Universe“.
