Iván L. Díaz is Professor of Biostatistics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and currently Visiting Fellow at CAS. His research focuses on developing non-parametric methods for causal inference from observational and randomized studies, missing data, survival analysis, and longitudinal studies. He uses causal modelling together with semi-parametric estimation theory and machine learning to solve methodological problems in health research.
