Die Wahrnehmung einer stetigen Zunahme bürokratischer Hürden ist allgegenwärtig. Eine überbordende Bürokratie gilt heute als zentrale Wachstumsbremse in Deutschland, noch vor hohen Steuern und Sozialabgaben, maroder Infrastruktur und Energiekosten. Das hochkarätig besetzte Panel diskutiert, wie bürokratische Systeme zukunftsfähig werden können, fragt aber auch ob sie als Bollwerk gegen Angriffe auf die Demokratie wirken.
