Julia Marshall is an Assistant Professor at Brown University in the Department of Cognitive and Psychological Sciences (CoPsy). There, she directs the Mind & Morality Lab. The lab‘s research focuses on understanding the roots of human cooperation by conducting research with children and adults. Prior to working at Brown, she was a National Science Foundation post-doctoral fellow in the Cooperation Lab at Boston College. She received her PhD in 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Paul Bloom in the Mind & Development Lab, where she also focused on questions surrounding the development of moral reasoning.
Julia Marshall is at CAS upon the invitation of Dr. Mathias Twardawski (CAS Researcher in Residence/LMU) during the winter semester 2024/25.
