Mathematics

Kirill Zaynullin is a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa.

His research focuses on algebraic geometry and algebra, with particular interests in the study of algebraic groups, representation theory, and the structure of algebraic varieties. Zaynullin investigates the interplay between algebraic and geometric properties of mathematical objects, contributing to a deeper understanding of symmetry and classification problems in algebraic geometry. He has published numerous articles exploring topics such as group actions, homogeneous spaces, and cohomological methods.

Kirill Zaynullin is a member of Prof. Dr. Nikita Geldhauser`s CAS Research Group Algebraic Groups, Motives and Applications. He will be in Munich as a Visiting Fellow in the year 2025/2026.
