Robin Mader is a PhD student working with Terry Gannon and Arturo Pianzola at the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences of the University of Alberta.
His research concerns applications of Galois cohomology and algebraic groups to the theory of vertex algebras. The research team recently developed a general descent theory for vertex algebras over differential rings and applied it to gain new insights into their twisted modules.
Robin Mader is a member of Prof. Dr. Nikita Geldhauser`s CAS Research Group Algebraic Groups, Motives and Applications. He will be in Munich as a Visiting Fellow in the year 2025/2026.
