Mathematics

Shahar Mendelson is Professor of Mathematics at the Texas A&M University.

His research focuses on high dimensional phenomena and mathematical aspects of data science. In particular, he investigates the (surprising) connections between Statistical Learning Theory, Empirical Processes Theory and Asymptotic Geometric Analysis.

Shahar Mendelson is a Visiting Fellow at CAS LMU from May to July 2026 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Holger Rauhut (LMU) in the context of the CAS Research Focus “Medical Data Processing”.
